It was jointly initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the China Foundation for the Development of the Elderly, and Tencent SSV Time Lab. It was supported by CASVI throughout the process.

Since its official launch in May 2024, two acceleration camps have been held in Shenzhen and Hong Kong respectively. Through activities such as project roadshows, mentor sharing sessions, visits to nursing homes, and participation in the Hong Kong Elderly Technology Expo, the program aimed to help project participants understand the current policy trends, cutting-edge development dynamics, and key pain points in the silver-haired industry. By establishing a platform for interaction and communication between project participants and experts from all walks of life as well as industry partners, the program enabled project participants to gain valuable industry insights and accelerate the large-scale application of high-quality smart elderly care products and services.

Academic support is provided by nine domestic universities and research institutes including the School of Cultural Industry Management of China Media University and the Cultural Creativity Development Research Institute of Tsinghua University. Through providing financial rewards, resources, and dissemination support, it aims to shape the capabilities of innovation entities and cultivate their achievements, promoting the evolution of the integration of "digital+culture", and injecting continuous vitality and innovative impetus into the digital culture field.

Through various forms such as online exchanges, offline visits, sharing at smart forums, and video live broadcasts, it has provided continuous project growth support throughout the process.

“Tencent Tech for good Project”: Innovation in Technology, Great Potential for Charity

The second phase of Tencent Technology Charity Incubation Program was initiated by Tencent Technology Charity and Tencent Foundation, with support from CASVI.
